What some of our senior home care services include:

Palliative Care

At-home palliative care in Burlington can provide comfort and symptom management for patients with life-limiting illnesses in the comfort of their own homes. It can also offer emotional and spiritual support to both the patient and their family members by improving the quality of life for patients by addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Non-medical care is an essential part of our business as well. Our caregivers can assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. They can also provide emotional support and help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness. Burlington at-home non-medical care can help patients follow their healthcare plans and adhere to their doctor’s recommendations, leading to better overall health outcomes.

Our caregivers provide companionship for patients who may be feeling isolated or lonely, or who have been diagnosed with dementia. They will spend time engaging in conversation, playing games, taking walks, or simply keeping them company. Companionship is an important aspect of our caregiving services, as it helps to improve the overall well-being of our patients whether it’s for a few hours a day or around the clock.

The level of care we provide clients is unmatched, in fact, we treat each patient like our own family.

We've been in your shoes before - here's our story:

Peak Home Healthcare is a family-owned business that was created in memory of our dear mother and Grandmother, Joyce. Grandma Joyce lived with us for fourteen years. She was in relatively good health when she moved in and we were grateful to have her with us. It gave us peace of mind to know that she wasn’t alone. As time progressed however her needs became greater. She eventually lost the freedom that driving provided so appointments and errands became a joint effort. Declining health led to more intricate care and fortunately, we had family on hand to step in and meet those needs. It was the value of having this home support for Joyce that inspired us to take this experience and offer support to others in need. It is our way of honouring a lady who taught us the value of family and the importance of being part of a community.

Physiotherapy is another important aspect of our business.

If you can’t come to us, we can come to your home in Burlington to provide professional physiotherapy. Not only do you not have to worry about traveling, but you also don’t have to worry about inconvenient appointment times. We guarantee a complete customized service that strictly benefits you and your needs. Whether you are struggling with balance, arthritis, are experiencing back pain, or are recovering from an injury or surgery, we can evaluate you in your home to determine the best course of treatment and even bring the necessary tools and equipment.

Our caregivers specialize in Dementia/Alzheimer's care

We provide our caregivers with extensive dementia care training who will also have ongoing direct communication between the supervisory nurse and our certified GPA (gentle persuasive approach) to ensure the comprehensive care plan is updated regularly. Working as a team is the best way for us to provide clients with unique and empowering Dementia/Alzheimer’s care. Together, we can live a happier and healthier life.
