About Peak Home Health Care

Our personal journey has made us realize how important it is to a person’s well being to be able to stay in their own home for as long as possible. Without a doubt we believe that Joyce lived a longer and happier life for this very reason. We also understand however that this is not always an option for every family without some outside help. So for us, Peak Home Health Care is our way of paying tribute to a woman who greatly influenced our lives. We want to help other families take care of their loved ones as we were once able to. Our Staff is trained to provide a vast variety of tasks to reach the needs of our clients. More importantly, they are trained to provide this care with the warmth and devotion of a family member. All of our clients are considered to be an extension of our family and it is our mission to make them feel that way.

So, if you or someone you love is in need of company or assistance, we encourage you to reach out and inquire about our many companions and caregivers. We provide a free consultation to determine if and how we can be of service. Together we can put a plan in place that will help everyone live a happy and healthier life.

Personal Care Professionals

How to know a loved one needs help?

It is often hard to determine when a loved one needs some extra help, and it is equally difficult for a loved one to reach out and ask for help when they are used to living independently. Many people live in a situation of need longer than necessary because they fear losing their independence. Ultimately it is most often a medical condition that prompts an individual or their family to seek assistance. It is important however to recognize that an individual’s needs go far beyond their physical health requirements. Loneliness and despair play a large factor in mental health so we must also be aware of the role that community support can play when it comes to our well being. Sometimes a regular visit from a caregiver can provide a needed lift for an individual living alone. Whether it’s a friendly chat, a card game, a walk, or an afternoon of shopping, a caregiver can make a huge difference in someone’s life.
